On some level, you think ugh, I really don’t want to get into all this and open up a can of worms trying to get some relief (especially when you don’t know if anything is really going to work).

See, when something is tight, it doesn’t always need to stretch (counterintuitive, I know).
Tightness can sometimes actually signal weakness. And you don’t want to stretch those muscles that are already hanging on for dear life!
Tightness can also signal a muscle imbalance.
What do I mean? Just from being human, some muscles can get too tight, and other muscles sometimes stop ‘doing their job’. We want to restore balance there, so all your muscles can work synergistically together (and stop yelling at each other lol).
The real game changer is when you combine release, stretching, and strengthening, which is what we’ll be focusing on in this workshop.

— It involves crouching way down on the ground in skandasana, then sitting down on your bum, turning your bent knee in, then out, and then standing up again without using your hands to help you up.
