As a society, we spend way too much of our lives being sedentary, not moving enough, and not moving in the right ways. And, unfortunately, conventional fitness doesn’t give our bodies the physical inputs we truly need.

When I was in my 30s I felt broken…I injured myself every time I tried a physical activity. I had pelvic floor issues, chronic foot problems, and would wake up with debilitating neck pain (so bad I’d have to call in sick to work).
I spent thousands of dollars trying different solutions.
Physiotherapy. Chiropractic. Acupuncture. Osteopathy. Massage therapy. Naturopathy. Rolfing.
Yet, my body still hurt.
My nagging injuries were the result of sedentary living, poor body alignment, and overdosing on intense exercise!
I immersed myself in the latest movement science (with a focus on functional strength, mobility, and natural movement). Finally, I had a roadmap to fix my issues.
When I took responsibility for my own healing, I connected with my body and built a foundation for the vibrant physical well-being and active adventures I was dreaming of.

At 50, I’m stronger, more mobile and (most importantly) more capable than ever. In the last few years, I started surfing and enjoyed a 32-day trek in Nepal.

In Steps 1-4, you’ll work on foundational skills from your toes to the tips of your fingers. Many students feel some notable relief (and enhanced mobility) in the first few weeks of this work. You’ll gain awareness of your body and its current capacity, as you awaken and nourish it.
As you progress onto Steps 5-8, you’ll work on bigger picture natural movement skills, which will let you explore heavier loads, build strength and control, and increase your ranges of motion. So you’ll feel like you can confidently “load” your body and do more fun things with ease (and less pain & stiffness)!
Finally, during Steps 9-12, you’ll troubleshoot specific issues and build awesome skills. You’ll increase your capacity to tackle more complex or demanding challenges like long distance backpacking, taking a gymnastics class, or meeting your teenage nephew on the tennis court.
